Welcome to CastArab. By registering for or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Who We Are

CastArab is an online casting platform connecting verified actors with directors, producers, and production companies across the Arab world. The platform is operated by CastArab ("we", "us", "our"), founded by Kareem El-Adl.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to register on CastArab. Minors under the age of 18 may only register with explicit written parental or guardian consent. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile
• Keep your profile information up to date
• Not share your account with any third party
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account

4. Actor Accounts

Actors are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of their own profiles. CastArab does not verify the claims made in actor profiles beyond identity verification. Actors agree not to misrepresent their skills, experience, appearance, or availability.

5. Director Accounts

Directors, producers, and casting agents must submit valid proof of professional legitimacy to receive verified status. Verified directors agree to use actor contact information solely for legitimate casting purposes and not for any commercial, spam, or harassment activity.

6. Prohibited Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on CastArab:

• Creating false or misleading profiles
• Contacting actors for any purpose other than legitimate casting
• Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour toward any user
• Sharing, selling, or redistributing user data
• Circumventing our verification or payment systems
• Posting casting calls for illegal, exploitative, or fraudulent purposes

7. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of any content you upload to CastArab, including photos, showreel links, and profile information. By uploading content, you grant CastArab a non-exclusive licence to display that content to other users as part of the platform's normal operation.

8. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

9. Termination

CastArab reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, without prior notice. Users may delete their accounts at any time through the account settings page.

10. Limitation of Liability

CastArab is a platform connecting parties — we are not responsible for the outcome of any casting process, the accuracy of user profiles, or the conduct of any user. We are not a party to any agreement between actors and directors.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
