Yes — the Actor Free plan is completely free and lets you create a basic profile with 3 photos and 1 video. The Actor Pro plan ($4.99/month or $39.99/year) gives you a verified badge, unlimited uploads, and priority placement in search results.
Can I contact directors directly?
No — this is by design. On CastArab, directors reach out to actors. This protects directors from being overwhelmed and ensures every contact is initiated professionally and intentionally.
Who can see my willingness flags?
Only verified directors with active accounts can see your willingness information. It is never visible to the public or to unverified users.
How do I improve my visibility to directors?
Complete your profile fully — headshot, showreel, experience, and all attributes. Get verified. Actors with complete, verified profiles receive significantly more director attention.
How much does a director account cost?
Director, producer, production company, and casting director accounts are completely free — no fees, no subscription. Just create your account and submit your professional verification documents, and your account will be activated within 48 hours.
How do I contact an actor I'm interested in?
Each actor profile shows a Contact button for verified directors. The actor's chosen contact method (WhatsApp, email, Instagram) will be used. You initiate the conversation directly.
Can I post casting calls?
Yes — verified directors can post casting calls specifying role requirements. Matching actors will be notified and can view the details.
How long does verification take?
We aim to review all verification submissions within 48 hours. You'll receive an email notification once your account is approved or if we need more information.
Is my ID safe?
Yes. Your documents are stored in an encrypted, access-restricted environment and are never shared with other users. You can request deletion of your documents after verification is complete.
My verification was rejected — what do I do?
You'll receive an email explaining why. Common reasons include unclear document photos or name mismatches. Simply resubmit with clearer documents. Email verify@castarab.com if you need help.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are given for remaining days.
